MKP Central Texas is a young and vibrant community of men doing our best to change the world for the better. The heart of our community is Austin, Texas—the Live Music Capital of the World—and surrounding areas including Bastrop, San Marcos, Wimberley, Seguin, Dripping Springs, San Antonio, and New Braunfels. MKP Central Texas was founded in the mid-1990s and today has grown to include more than 300 men initiated as New Warriors.
Central Texas Warriors are diverse including men from all walks of life and ages, ranging from 18 to 75. Our men are artists, doctors, hippies, hi-tech professionals, carpenters, volunteers, environmentalists, attorneys, educators, politicians, small business owners, government workers, bankers, students, retirees and just all-around damn good guys! For fun, we beat on drums, debate politics, do lunch, create works of art, workout, swim in Barton Springs, eat BBQ, cycle down the roads of the Texas Hill Country, you name it—we are high energy and like to have a good time!
We also support each other on our paths to be better men, to grow spiritually and to conquer the fears and obstacles that hold us back. Core to our community are I-Groups, small groups of men that meet regularly, and these groups keep us growing strong! We now have eight groups that meet weekly or bi-weekly and contain anywhere from 6-10 men.
Not only are we there for each other, we also give back to the community by supporting charities and volunteer organizations by sharing our physical and mental strength, time, energy and financial resources. Mission and service are close to our hearts.
We invite you to learn more about us, whether it’s visiting one of our open I-Groups or joining us at our Monthly Warrior Lunch.
