It all started around the end of 2004, at the Land of My Grandfathers in Houston, Texas. A father, his son and a friend who lived on the Big Island had a dream of a community of new warriors in Hawaii. Soon after, in early 2005, another father and son joined in the dream, along with two other brothers newly arrived. Two of the men attended the first I Group Council in Houston and came away with a first edition PIT Manual. Subsequently, a PIT was held (by the book) and the first I Group was formed in Kohala.

From that modest beginning, the MKP Community in Hawaii today numbers about seventy men, in several I Groups, on three of the islands. Our first NWTA was conducted in October of 2008 and the second in April of 2009, with a third planned for October of 2009. Our goal is to become a Developing Center in 2010.
