Mission of Service for Colorado Recipient
Personal Mission:I create a world of peace and magnificent beauty by teaching truth and building diverse community of healing and inspiration. Action in the World:Our 2009 recipient is the founder and Head of School of a network of two charter schools in Southwest Denver. He designed the schools through a fellowship during 2004 and 2005, and the first school opened in 2006, followed by a second school in 2009. The original campus posted the highest student growth scores in all of Denver for three consecutive year and was ranked second among all 146 Denver Schools in 2009, while serving 93% reduced & free lunch students and 90% Latino students. |
