Mission of Service for Matt Zavadil
 Personal Mission:I create a joyful world of empowered people by passionately inspiring myself and others to awaken to, and engage with, our authentic magnificence. Action in the World:Matt Zavadil brings the joy of authentic self-expression through music to the elderly, by facilitating group rhythm circles (with drums and hand-held percussion) with elders living at various levels of assisted living, including retirement centers, day recreational facilities, nursing homes, and in-patient medical centers. He also has been working in similar ways with children in schools and at public festivals. In addition to this encouragement of others to discover and express what is often a dormant part of themselves in this way, Matt has been bringing his passion to the Georgia ManKind Project by showing up and leading others in a way that supports them to uncover their unique potential. At the October training he largely did this through his job as Enrollment Coordinator, inspiring others to reach out to other men with all of who they are. We had our largest weekend to date as a result. |
