Mission of Service for Rex Dabling

Action in the World:

Rex has coached little league baseball works on the fields and volunteers on the league board. Once a year Rex takes a group of teenagers from his church to Casa Hogar an orphanage in a very remote part of Mexico. The group works on large scale construction improvements while living at the orphanage interacting with the children. The locals in Mexico dubbed him "Los Gatos de Amor" because of his big heart. Rex took point as project manager on their multi-million dollar building project and last year managed the Interfaith Hospitality construction project. This is transitional living space in the church basement for homeless families in transition. Locally, Rex took point in our center's "help feed the homeless" program whereby our community makes sandwiches and serves the poor in our community.
