Mission of Service for Jerry Medol

Action in the World:

Jerry is the owner and developer of Anger Alternatives Inc. He has worked for more than three decades to ameliorate the negative effects of anger in our society by serving as an anger educator and trainer and by developing and implementing exceptional anger-related healing programming. Anger Options is a not-for-profit agency founded two years ago by Jerry and his partner Rusty Fleischer. AO program uses the "Stoppit" model that Jerry developed over many years. "Stoppit"" is non-shaming and male supportive. AO's mission is "to teach the healthy expression of anger and to provide quality anger training services to men and women in KC regardless of their ability to pay fees".

Jerry was the founder and the director of The Men's Project of Kansas City, from 1972 to 1984. The Men's Project was the first male supportive, non-shaming anger support program for abusive men in the US.
