Phil was a senior facilitator and trainer for Gender Equity & Reconciliation International (GRWorld.org) which is an international organization that works toward the healing between men and women.

He works with Barefoot Children Ministries as a volunteer and board member. BCM is a 501(C3) nonprofit organization that works to overcome poverty and promote human dignity for families living in remote villages in the Toledo district of Belize by providing education, health and community improvement resources. He has made eight trips with BCM to teach, assist with construction work, help the widows, deliver supplies and take part in the elderly enrichment program.
