Dan lives in Brighton, UK with his wife and daughter. He has worked with disaffected youth since 2001. Dan joined A Band of Brothers in 2008. Curtis works with family members (particularly children) where domestic violence is an issue, as well as working with adoptive and foster families. He has helped organize and sustained Food Co-ops, been involved with blood drives, Challenge Day activities, organizing a rural recycling program, assisting in local schools around issues of violence and volunteers at a local Women’s Shelter. He has brought numerous service activities to his I Group. In his work, he treats and educate male batterers.

He helped organize and open Oxford Houses Sober Residences for men and women.
